Antiques of South Windermere

Is this a place to visit even if I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for?

Absolutely. Part of the appeal is discovery. The mix of dealers, periods, furniture, art, and smaller objects means you may find something completely different from what initially brought you in- whether you are furnishing a room, collecting, looking for a gift, or simply searching for one piece with character.

If I see something I like online, should I confirm it before visiting?

Yes. Many antiques and vintage pieces are individual finds rather than repeat inventory. If you are coming specifically for one item, confirm its current availability first and ask for any dimensions or details you need before making the trip.

Can I find jewelry here too?

Yes. Jewelry can also appear within the dealer collections at Antiques of South Windermere. Because individual dealer inventory changes, contact the shop if you are searching for a particular period, material, stone, or type of piece.

Do you carry smaller decorative pieces, or mainly furniture?

There is much more than large furniture. Depending on current inventory, you may find art, ceramics, mirrors, lighting, textiles, tabletop pieces, decorative objects, natural curiosities, and smaller accents for bookshelves, consoles, and collected interiors.

Can I find pieces with Charleston or regional history?

Yes, regional provenance is one of the reasons designers seek out the shop. Because inventory changes, the specific pieces and their histories vary; ask about the provenance of an individual item if that is important to you.
