A longtime King Street antiques destination, George C. Birlant & Co. has been part of Charleston since 1922. The family-owned shop specializes in 18th- and 19th-century furniture, silver, porcelain, crystal and brass, along with clocks, lighting, fireplace accessories, traditional reproduction furniture and gifts. The shop is also home to the original Charleston Battery Bench, made with cast-iron sides from historic molds and South Carolina cypress.
