Carolina Lanterns & Lighting

How do I know what size lantern or chandelier is right for my space?

You can bring your architectural blueprints, exterior elevation drawings, or room dimensions directly to our Mt. Pleasant showroom! Our lighting specialists will calculate the ideal scale, height, and wattage for your front entryway, kitchen island, or dining area.

Do you provide direct installation or electrical services?

We manufacture and supply fixtures directly to homeowners, interior designers, architects, and custom home builders, but we do not provide direct installation or gas-line plumbing services. All fixtures arrive safety-certified and ready for installation by a licensed electrician or plumber.

Can I customize the finish, size, or mounting option for my lantern?

Absolutely. Beyond standard wall mounts, we offer custom sizing, specialized copper finishes (such as raw copper, dark bronze, or aged patina), decorative scrollwork, and varied mounting styles including full yoke, half yoke, ceiling drop pendants, and pier/post mounts.

Do you offer complete interior lighting designs, or only exterior lanterns?

While we are famous for our custom exterior copper lanterns, our full showroom catalog includes a comprehensive selection of interior chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, vanity lighting, ceiling fans, and home accents from leading designer brands.

Do your outdoor lanterns run on natural gas, propane, or electricity?

We offer configurations for all three! Most of our exterior lantern styles can be built as open-flame natural gas or liquid propane fixtures, or hardwired with electric candle-cluster sockets.
